📵Important Update: New State Law on Student Device Use📵
Starting the First Day of School, August 8th, a new Oklahoma law (SB 139) will prohibit students from using personal electronic devices during the entire school day, from the first bell to the last.
🔒What's Changing?
❌No phones, smartwatches, tablets, personal laptops, smart headphones, or smart glasses during school hours (including lunch and passing periods)
✅School-issued devices (like Chromebooks) are still allowed for learning
🚨Exceptions for emergencies or documented health needs
⚠️Violations will lead to disciplinary action
This change is designed to reduce distractions and help students stay focused. We're sharing this now so families can prepare — more details coming later this summer!

Reminder: Graduation is this evening in the Linton Gym at 7:30 pm. Seating is first come, first serve. Please, no saving seats. The doors will not open until 6:15 pm. Thank you for helping us celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of '25!

Southeastern Oklahoma State University music scholarship signings!
Kaylee Smith received a vocal music scholarship, room and board wavier, and the prestigious Reba McEntire Music Major Award! Kaylee will be majoring in music and psychology!
Jordyn Crockett received a music scholarship! She will be participating in the marching band in the fall and the concert band in the spring!
Wildcat Track is State bound! They will begin events tomorrow at Western Heights at 9:30 AM. Below are some guidelines and procedures for the meet, along with the schedule of events. Thank you and go Wildcats!!
