OSSAA Regional Marching Band Contest Results- The Pride of Coalgate Wildcat Marching Band received an Excellent Rating at regionals today! The students had their best performance of the year today! They powered through the rain and did a fantastic job! We are so proud of them! Guard Results- Hailey Vineyard and Scout Donihoo Duet- They received an Excellent Rating on their duet! Kristy Coats Solo- She received a Superior Rating on her solo! Sammy Nelson Solo- She received a Superior Rating on her solo! Thank you to all the students, administrators, cheerleaders, football team, and coaches that came out to support us today! It truly meant a lot to us! Thank you to all our band parents, boosters, and band roadies for all the help this season! It’s been an interesting season with the rain but these folks come out and push the equipment, load, unload, hold tarps, wipe off equipment, and are just amazing! We couldn’t do what we do without them! I appreciate all of you! Last thing- Its a Great Day to be a Wildcat!

2026 Chickasaw Festival Band Day Extravaganza- Tishomingo Results- The Pride of Coalgate Wildcat Marching Band attended Tishomingo contest yesterday! It was a wet and rainy day but the students were flexible and adapted to all the changes and had two great performances! Our field performance was a first for us with it pouring down rain the whole time but it was a great performance! Huge Shout Out to all of our band boosters, band parents, and band roadies who held tarps, wiped down equipment, moved equipment, and were just awesome yesterday! Each month Coalgate High School will have a drawing with all students who have Perfect Attendance for the month. We would like to Thank Coalgate Sonic for donating gift cards that will be given to the winning student each month. Our Perfect Attendance raffle winner for September 2026 is Chayse Huffman! Coal County Outside Classroom 4th & 5th Grades. 9 stations rotating every 20 minutes. Roughly 175 students across all of Coal county at the Coalgate Park.
