🏀 Regional Basketball Update. Wildcats get a hard fought win over the Panama Razorbacks 47-43 to advance to the Area Tournament!! The Wildcats will be back in action Thursday March 5th in Checotah! It’s a great day to be a Wildcat!

OSSAA District Choir Solo and Ensemble Contest Results- Solos- 7th Grade- Stephanie Rios- Excellent Rating 8th Grade- Victoria Spangler- Good Rating Wendy Fleming- Excellent Rating These students did an amazing job today! This was their first solo and ensemble contest! We are very proud of them! Congratulations to them and their director Ms. Rhoda! Thank you Mrs. Nancy for playing the accompaniment with them and supporting the band and choir students this year! It’s a great day to be a wildcat!

🏀 Boys Basketball Update. The Wildcats beat Calera 52-30 and advance to the Regional Consalation Finals! They will play the Panama Razorbacks tomorrow @Latta at 2:30! Go Wildcats!

Coalgate FFA students cooked breakfast for Coalgate faculty Thursday morning for faculty appreciation! Food was absolutely delicious. It's a great time to be a Wildcat!

Congratulations to Jojo Lambert and Natalie Shaw for qualifying for the State Powerlifting Meet! Jojo placed 3rd at Regionals with a total of 600 pounds. Natalie placed 7th, qualifying at Large with a total of 705 pounds. Both will compete at the State Powerlifting Meet at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant March 2nd!

Join us in sending Lucas and Laramie off to the State Wrestling Tournament! Laramie is the first girls wrestling State Qualifier in school history and Lucas is the first boys wrestling State Qualifier in School History! The Send Off will be Thursday at 10:50 AM from the HS gym! Laramie will wrestle Thursday Night and Lucas will wrestle Friday, both at the OG&E Coliseum!

Ticket Punched! Congratulations to Lucas Franklin for Qualifying for the 3a State Wrestling Tournament. Lucas finished 3rd at 285 and became the first boy in School History to Qualify for the State Tournament!!

OSSAA District Solo and Ensemble Contest Results It’s been a great day making music! These students represented their school with pride today! We had 19 students qualified for State Solo and Ensemble Contest in April which is a total of ten different events! We had 21 events out of 34 receive superior ratings! Congratulations to the Coalgate Wildcats for winning the 2A District 1 Championship! 🏀🏆 They will be back in action against Wewoka at Warner, Tuesday, February 24th at 7:30pm. The Lady Cats will play Wewoka at Warner, Thursday, February 26th at 6 pm. It’s a great day to be a Wildcat!

The Pride of Coalgate Concert Band attended the Checotah Band Daze Contest today! The band received an Excellent Rating on stage and an Excellent Rating in sightreading! They performed really well today and I am extremely proud of them! OSSAA District Band Contest is up next on March 3rd! It’s a great day to be a wildcat!

Congratulations to Laramie Loudermilk! 5a Girls 145lb State Qualifier. Our First Girl State Qualifier in School History!! Laramie finished 5th at Regionals this weekend to punch her ticket to the State Tournament.

Casey McCollum joins Coalgate Public Schools with a strong background in athletics, leadership, and student development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Sciences from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from the Southeastern Oklahoma State University. A former collegiate baseball player, Casey competed at Eastern Oklahoma State College, earning a National Gold Glove Award, before finishing his career at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He believes academics and athletics work together to teach discipline, accountability, and teamwork. Casey is married to his wife, Rebecca, and they have two children who attend Coalgate Public Schools.
