2026-2027 District Calendar
Congratulations to Lucas Franklin who went and competed at the 2026 USA Wrestling Fargo National Championships and finished 5th in the Freestyle Division and 3rd in the Greco Division. He earned Double All American Honors by placing in both divisions. Fargo is the toughest tournament in the country at the high school level, placing is an amazing accomplishment. Way to represent Coalgate and the State of Oklahoma, Lucas!

CHS Graduation will be at Donald Mike Mayer Field at 7:30 pm this Friday. Please, no spreading of blankets to save seats. Guest seating and parking will be on the home side. Seniors should meet at the visitor's concession area at 6:30 pm. Only seniors may use the visitor's parking lot. Thank you and congratulations to our CHS Seniors!

Angela Hughes, Coalgate High School Principal, has been elected to represent Coal, Atoka, and Pontotoc Counties' secondary principals on the Executive Board of the Oklahoma Association of Secondary School Principals for a two year term beginning July 1, 2026.
Axel McNutt has been selected to the 2026 Engineering Summer Bridge Program at the University of Oklahoma. This year marked the most competitive applicant pool in the 20-year history of the ESB program, with 159 outstanding applicants from across the globe. Congratulations, Axel!
The 5th and 6th grade band attended Arbuckle Funfest today and received straight superior ratings on stage! They have received superior ratings at all contests this year which is the first time in program history to do so! I am so proud of them! The future is bright for these students and the program! It’s a great day to be a wildcat!
