Dear Coalgate Public Schools Families,
Due to new state regulations, Coalgate Public Schools will no longer be able to provide a third meal to students during the school day beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.

Junior and Senior KTC students begin classes on Tuesday, Aug. 11. The morning bus leaves at 8:00am and the afternoon bus leaves at noon from the HS Parking Lot. Coalgate students are required to ride the bus.
ATTENTION PARENTS: We have extended online enrollment to today. We will not be taking online enrollees past 3pm today. Please come to In-Person enrollment tomorrow and Friday.

Oklahoma House Bill 1276 is a state law that extends and makes permanent the "bell-to-bell" ban on cell phones and personal electronic devices in public schools. CPS wanted to remind our patrons that student
cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, smart glasses, and any other personal electronic devices are prohibited from Bell to Bell. "Bell to Bell" means that students must keep devices off, out of sight, and out of reach during the entire school day, from the first bell to the dismissal bell. Communications with students during the school day will need to be done by contacting the school office.

We mourn for our friend and former colleague. Tony Gibby was part of the Wildcat family for many years. Words cannot express the appreciation everything “Gibby” has done for us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We will miss you buddy.
We have a new way to fill out our lunch forms. The form is no longer in the online enrollment packet but in the tab next to the enrollment tab.
Filling these forms out helps the School to continue to offer three free meals!

Congratulations to Lucas Franklin who went and competed at the 2026 USA Wrestling Fargo National Championships and finished 5th in the Freestyle Division and 3rd in the Greco Division. He earned Double All American Honors by placing in both divisions. Fargo is the toughest tournament in the country at the high school level, placing is an amazing accomplishment. Way to represent Coalgate and the State of Oklahoma, Lucas!
