
AMAZING DISCOVERY
Ezekiel Dollar and Noah Nickell were on the hunt for igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks at recess after learning about them in Mrs. Redden’s science class! Good job, boys!


MRS. REDDEN'S CLASS
Mrs. Redden's class took advantage of the nice weather this week to practice writing their names in cursive with sidewalk chalk.




TUESDAY BB GAMES
The high school basketball games vs. Davis scheduled for tomorrow, February 2, will played at Coalgate.

BASKETBALL UPDATES
On Monday, January 29, the junior high will host Caddo, and the games will begin at 4:00. There will be one boys' game and one girls' game.
On February 6th, the junior high will play at Stuart beginning at 4:00. The high school games will follow.

Wildcat Powerlifting went to the Little Axe Meet in Shawnee and came home with some individual hardware!

SCHOOL TOMORROW
As the situation stands of as now, school will be in session tomorrow. Please check here for future updates if anything changes. Thank you.

Coalgate Public Schools will be releasing classes at 10:30 am for the remainder of the day and learn virtually. Due to low water pressure our district can not maintain daily operations. Busses will run at 10:30 with walkers and riders being released at this time also. Students will be provided sack lunches. School will resume Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 unless otherwise notified. We apologize for any inconvenience. Career Tech and extra curricular activities will continue as normal.

CHEER CAMP DEADLINE
Friday, January 19, is the last day to turn in forms. Please see the attached image for more information.


COALGATE IN SESSION TOMORROW
Coalgate Schools will be in session tomorrow. Please dress your children in warm clothing. Each school will have a warm place for students to gather once they arrive at school. Again, dress them warmly.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
The Pride of Coalgate Wildcat Marching Band received an invite and opportunity to perform the National Anthem at a OKC Dodgers Baseball Game on April 20th, 2024! The only thing we have to do for this opportunity is sell 100 tickets to the game! The seats will be right behind the dugout! The tickets are $19 a person! If you are interested in purchasing tickets to the game, you can purchase them at the superintendents office with Jana. Please support us in this opportunity and give these students a once in a lifetime experience! You can email me at thowell@coalgateschools.org with any questions!

UPDATE AND CORRECTION to Vocal Music Announcement
Due to illness the MS/HS choir portion of the Music Department Christmas program scheduled for TODAY has been postponed until Tuesday, December 12th. It will be combined with the elementary music program scheduled for that night. Again, the MS/HS choir portion of today' s Christmas program will be postponed until Tuesday evening along with the elementary music program

AFTER SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT
There will be no after school on Tuesday, December 12, due to the Emerson Elementary Music Program.

In keeping with the spirit of this season, the Coalgate Public Schools School Board has presented faculty and staff with a Christmas stipend in appreciation of their devotion to our school and community. Coalgate Schools hopes to make this season even more joyful and to let anyone considering a career in eduction, that Coalgate Schools cares.






PLAYGROUND BUILD, PART 2
This coming weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the community will gather to complete the new playground. Therefore, we once again need volunteers. It will be colder than last time but also drier. They are needing at least 50 volunteers per day. All help will be appreciated..
