The following is the script read at the presentation;
Hi, I’m Joel Northcutt with Tishomingo Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers. We are here to present Raeleigh Madden with a $1,000.00 scholarship for being our A+ Athlete of the Week.
Raeleigh, who ranks fifth in her class with a 4.2 GPA, is also a top ten-percent academic athlete in her school. She’s a member of the National Honor Society, the Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society, and the Scholastic Team. All while serving as the Coalgate Student Council Vice President and taking concurrent college courses as well.
Raeleigh is always smiling, happy, and someone who naturally contributes a lot to the class. She has a knack for keeping discussions lively and engaging. Raeleigh's dedication to academics is evident in her commitment to setting a good example for others and maintaining excellent grades. She believes in the importance of being a dedicated student, setting the tone for her future.
In athletics, Raeleigh's commitment is unwavering. She competes in multiple sports, including Cross Country, Basketball, Track, Golf, and Softball for the Lady Cats. Her achievements include earning all-district and all-region honors in softball and becoming a two-time individual state qualifier in golf. She's also been named an Academic team National Qualifier.
Raeleigh has an excellent work ethic, always the first to arrive and often the last to leave. She's a natural leader who leads by example, putting in the extra effort without needing to be asked. Raeleigh embodies perseverance and determination, understanding that failure is a part of the journey.
And that’s why Raeleigh Madden is Tishomingo Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers A+ Athlete of the week!
