THANK YOU, SALLY HAMILTON
After serving Coalgate Schools for 30 years, Sally has decided to retire. She has been a valuable and treasured part of the school for all those years. We are happy that she will have more time for herself and her family, but we will miss her.
HS Students may order letterman jackets tomorrow, Sept. 18th, during 5th period in the HS auditorium. A $200 deposit is required to order. Softshell school jackets can be ordered for a $50 deposit.
AFTER SCHOOL NOTIFICATION
There will be no after school this Thursday, Sept. 19th, because of Parent/Teacher conferences. There will be no school Friday, Sept. 20th.
COLLEGE FAIR
On Tuesday, September 10th, 40 Coalgate High School seniors attended the Texoma
Area-Wide College Fair at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. Students were able to meet with representatives from colleges and universities in Oklahoma and Texas. This was a great opportunity for our seniors to learn more about post secondary opportunities that are available.

Rhett Acker, who leads the Oklahoma Drone Recovery program, visited Coalgate schools to demonstrate for the students how the drone operates.
PRIDE OF COALGATE
The Pride of Coalgate performed at Step Out of Darkness March. The Ponatoc County drug free coalition.

ESPORTS CANCELED
Due to an ATT outage, the eSports competition scheduled for this afternoon has been canceled.

CHS is excited to share our new Homecoming By-Laws to include all school sponsored organizations. Additionally, we anticipate greater community involvement by having one large annual homecoming week for all to enjoy. Our HOCO this year will be held October 4th. Coalgate Schools is implementing a new registration process this year. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to pre-registration all students by selecting the link provided below. Once registered, parents/guardians will receive proofs the day pictures are taken. In addition, they can pre-order and save up to 20% on every individual order. Pictures will be sent to the home address and not to the school to assure parents/guardians will receive their orders. If ordered within 7 days, the company will provide free shipping.

Everyone had a blast with the Coalgate Schools faculty/staff and their families at the back-to-work swim party.
ATTENTION ELEMENTARY STUDENTS/PARENTS
Parents please give yourself time when dropping off students, and do not pass cars in line. Safety is our #1 priority. Please park in the parking lot across from the elementary school if walking them to the door. If you’re going to drop off students, please have them ready to exit vehicles when it's your turn.
Remember to drive cautiously for the safety of our students.
