The Coalgate Band competed in the Tishomingo Chickasaw Nation Annual Meeting and Festival Band Day Extravaganza. Here are the results:

REALITY CHECK
On Tuesday, September 19th, 9th grade students from Coalgate High School attended a reality fair at Kiamichi Technology Center in Atoka. The students participated in an interactive real-world money challenge to prepare them for life after high school.
HS ACADEMIC TEAM
The high school academic team beat Achille 280-180. They are currently 4-0 for the season. They travel to OU for NAQT on Saturday. Congratulations!!!!

FOOTBALL GAME UPDATE
Tonight's football game will be at Coalgate instead of away. The game will begin at 6:00.
The SB game at Antlers this Friday, Sept. 8, has been cancelled. Instead, our girls will play at Soper at 2:30 pm that day.

SCHOOL PICTURE DAY
School picture day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6th for all grades 3-11. You can order online or with an order form. The attached picture will have the information for ordering online. If you have questions, please contact Stephanie McNutt at the High School.
GAME TIME CHANGE
The start time for the high school football gamer on Friday, September 1, has been changed to 8:00 P.M.
Coalgate Public Schools will be CLOSED Friday, September 1, for the services for Derby Gearheart. Classes will resume September 5, 2023.
The HS SB game at Latta has been cancelled but the JH will play Latta at home today at 4:30.
SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE CLOSURE The Superintendent's office will be closed Thursday, August 31, for out-of-town training.
OUR HEARTS HURT
We have suffered a loss to our school community. This loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school. especially our students.
Coalgate Schools will have trained professionals to help with th needs of our students and school personnel. They will be available Monday morning.
