CONGRATULATIONS ACADEMIC TEAM
Congratulations to our Academic Team! The Coalgate Wildcat Academic Team won 3rd place at the State Meet on Saturday, January 28th! The team lost the first round to Preston 250-230, won round two against Heritage Hall 200-190, beat Wilburton 240-190 in round three, beat Caney Valley 260-230 in the fourth round and lost against Morris 280-150 in round five. Great job to all team members!

CONGRATULATIONS RIDGE, CADEN, AD
Ridge Duncan, Caden Russell, and A.D. Mauk performed at the Southeastern Oklahoma Band Directors Association 64th Annual All-District High School Symphonic Band concert on Saturday, January 28th.

NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the after school program for today, January 30, has been canceled.
BASKETBALL CANCELLATION
The elementary and middle school basketball games scheduled for tomorrow, January 30th at Stonewall have been cancelled due to the possibility of inclement weather.
SPORTS and CLASS PICTURES
Both Sports and class pictures will be taken Wednesday, February 1.
Sports Pictures will be this Wednesday, February 1. The sports include powerlifting, MS and HS Track, MS and HS Baseball, MS and HS slow pitch softball, golf, along with E-sports, FFA officers, FCCLA officers and HS choir. Order forms are at the HS and MS office or you can order online at shannaco.com.
Class pictures will be Wednesday, February 1. We will be doing proofing instead of order forms. The photographer will take the pictures, come back and get them all fixed up, then send the proofs to go home within about a week. We will then give a deadline to order. Each student will have a personalized order form for their class picture that shows their class picture as well as what can be ordered.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Coalgate Public Schools’ Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Coalgate Public School was made aware of a threat made toward students this evening. We immediately notified law enforcement and they began an investigation. After collaborating with law enforcement, a joint decision was made that school could safely resume tomorrow, January 26th. All parties known to be associated with this threat have been notified. Student safety is our top priority, so we wanted to be upfront about this situation.
If more information becomes available, we will communicate with you again. As a reminder, by law, student disciplinary information is confidential and cannot be discussed.
