SUMMER PRIDE
Summer Pride will start Tuesday, May 28th from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Summer Pride is open to all male and female athletes in junior high and high school.

CONGRATULATIONS, DESTINY
Destiny Grant tied for 6th place out of 19 participants in the high jump at the State Track Meet. Congratulations, Destiny!!



MS. GAMMON RETIRING
Ms. Gammon stated, "I have taught for 32 years. The last five at Coalgate; the rest at Tushka. I am celebrating my retirement by going on an Alaskan cruise. No concrete plans at this time but looking forward to what the future holds. Many thanks to Coalgate for accepting me into the Wildcat family!!!" We thank her for her dedicated service at Coalgate Schools and pray her retirement is a blessing.

SONIC TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY
Sonic donated over 80 drinks to teachers and staff at Coalgate Schools. Teachers and staff were able to request their favorite Sonic drink, which was delivered to the school.
We also had very generous donations from Triple Heart Boutique, Crooked Arrow Boutique, Wildcat Nutrition, The Flower Garden, Shirt Happens, The Salty Heifer, and Back Road Bath n Body! A huge Thank You to all for making Teacher Appreciation Week special.






TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

GRADUATION UPDATE
Graduation has been moved to the Linton Gym due to wet field conditions and mosquitoes. Seating in the Linton Gym is first come first serve. Please, no saving seats. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to celebrating the CHS Seniors of 2024 this Friday night at 7:30.

Baseball regional games have been moved to McAlester tomorrow beginning with Coalgate vs. Central at 11:00 am. Good Luck, Wildcats!

TRACK SEND OFF
At 6:30 this afternoon in front of the gym, we will be sending off our track students for State.

BB Regional Games Update: All regional ballgames in Calera are cancelled for today. Time and place for tomorrow, May 3rd, is to be announced.

BB Regional Update, May 2nd: We have had another delay due to water on the field in Calera. We will update where and when they will play as soon as we have information available.

Update: The regional BB Games in Calera have been pushed forward due to rain. The first game between Calera and Central begins at 4 pm. Coalgate and Christian Heritage will play afterward.

CHS announcement: The Chick-fil-a Food Truck is planning on being in the DG Parking lot from 11-1 pm Thursday, May 2nd if the weather allows. Coalgate Schools have a closed campus policy. If your student is planning on having Chick-fil-a for lunch, please plan accordingly and have someone other than a student deliver their food to the HS office. Thank you for planning ahead of time to avoid disruption of the school day.

BASEBALL GAME DELAYED
The baseball game scheduled for this afternoon in Calera has been pushed back because of the rain. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

BASEBALL REGIONALS
Coalgate's first regional game will be played tomorrow at 1:30 at Calera. We will be playing Christian Heritage. You can watch play by play action via the GameChanger App.

ACADEMIC TEAM UPDATE
The Coalgate Academic Team placed 14th. RACHEL PRINCE made history as the first Coalgate student to be selected for the NAQT All Tournament team. Congratulations Team and Rachel. Well done!!
